The Highland Council have announced that road improvement works on the A82 north of Fort William will begin on Monday, 21 October.
The £120,000 investment by Transport Scotland will see improvements to a 1km section of the A82 north of Fort William near the "Great Glen Cattle Ranch", creating a smoother and safer road for motorists.
The project will take place between 7am and 7pm each day with expected completion by 7pm on Thursday 24 October.
Eddie Ross, BEAR Scotland's North West Representative, said. "This project will help improve the road surface on this section of the A82 near Fort William, creating a safer and smoother journey for motorists
"We've taken steps to help minimise disruption for road users as much as possible during the project by programming works to avoid the weekend period. The traffic management in place is essential for ensuring the safety of road workers and road users, however our teams will do all they can to complete the project as quickly and safely as possible.
"We thank motorists for their patience in advance and would encourage them to plan their journeys before setting out by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up to date travel information."
