SSE have been announced as the winner of the FTSE 350 Reporting Award in this year's PwC Building Public Trust Awards.

PwC describes the award as a celebration of those companies that provide a clear, consistent, high quality and integrated strategic narrative across the spectrum of their reporting.

Judges looked at the SSE Annual Report 2019, the SSE Sustainability Report 2019, Preliminary Full-year Results and other investor material on the Reports and Results centre on sse.com to assess transparency in the following areas: strategic reporting, corporate governance, executive remuneration, tax, workforce fairness, and purpose and impact.


Nominations are not made for the Building Public Trust Awards; instead, all companies in the FTSE 350 are automatically evaluated as part of the judging process.
