Construction News Image
SiBCAS have supplied and installed a new quality modular building at New Seaham Academy on behalf of local contractor Brims Construction.

New Seaham Academy – an outstanding school in the North East of England, were looking to replace an old dilapidated portable building which was used as a music room for pupils.

The existing pre-fabricated modular building was demolished and removed from site, new concrete foundations were required to accommodate the proposed new modular building, with upgrade to all incoming services. Access to school premises was very tight, with overhead telecom wiring being removed to allow the installation of the modular classroom via crane and articulated vehicles.

SiBCAS delivered, installed and commissioned a newly refurbished music room within budget and timescale. Both Brims Construction and the Head Teacher of the School passed very positive comments on the finished product and professional attributes provided by SiBCAS.

Bernadette Dolan, Principal of New Seaham Academy, said: "Highly professional, personalised and efficient service from all involved from the initial meetings to completion. The modular unit is absolutely wonderful and we are so pleased to have commissioned Sibcas to do the works.

"Commendable client focus throughout and I would like to express my particular gratitude to Kevin who established an excellent working relationship from the outset, not only with myself but with the personnel from Brims Construction Ltd who were overseeing a range of works in the school over the holidays. I would not hesitate to recommend Sibcas without reservation."
