Perth & Kinross Council have announced that road resurfacing works on the A924 Atholl Road, Pitlochry and adjoining side roads will be taking place from Monday 9 September 2019.
These works are scheduled to last approximately three weeks, subject to weather conditions.
Traffic management arrangements during the works will be as follows:
• A924 Atholl Road: Temporary traffic signals, with a convoy system in operation during working hours (Mondays to Fridays from 7.30am to 4.30pm.)
• Junctions of A924 Atholl Road with Bonnethill Road, East Moulin Road and Ferry Road: Road closures of the side roads will be required and diversions will be put in place. These works are expected to take place Mondays to Fridays.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times within the works area and access for business deliveries will be permitted as works allow. On-street parking will be suspended within the works area to allow for temporary traffic management arrangements. The traffic and parking restrictions will be lifted over weekends wherever possible and in particular for Pitlochry Highland Games. Residents neighbouring the works area have been contacted by letter regarding the full arrangements.
