Angus Council has announced that Phase 2 of the Westway roads project will begin on Tuesday, 10 September.
The project aims to improve traffic flow around the Westway/A92 roundabout In Arbroath starts.
Work will last for eight weeks. Traffic management in the first five weeks will be kept at a minimum, while work is carried out on footways and ducts for the new signals are installed across the roads.
Carriageway resurfacing work will begin around 14-15 October and will be carried out overnight, between 7pm and up to 7am. Temporary traffic lights will operate during this time to maintain access in and out of the retail park. A temporary access road will be created to help keep access to the park as easy as possible.
Signs will be in place to assist drivers.
Thanks in advance for your patience and we’ll keep you up to date with information during the improvement works.
