Initial site proposals for a new primary school at Ness Castle, Inverness, are set to be displayed to the public for consultation.
The pre-application consultation events will take place on Tuesday 11 June at Inverness Royal Academy from 10am to 2pm and at Holm Primary School from 3pm to 7.30pm. These drop-in events will display general concepts for the proposed development, along with site location and site constraints information.
The Highland Council is urging people living in the catchment area for the proposed school to attend the events and offer comments on the proposals. Submissions received from this consultation may be incorporated into the design development.
Further drop-in sessions will be held at a later date where site plans and building layouts will be displayed for public review and comment prior to submitting a planning application.
The new school is scheduled to open in August 2021.
