Planning permission has been granted for a new 32-home development in Inverkip, Inverclyde.
The new site, named Langhouse Gardens, will feature a mix of spacious three-bedroom semi-detached and three and four-bedroom detached homes.
Located on Longhouse Road, some of the Merchant Homes properties will also feature an exclusive new housetype design.
Linda McLuskie, Sales and Marketing Director for Merchant Homes, said: "This is an exciting milestone for what will be a truly unique development.
"Following on from our popular Kirn Gardens development in Gourock, we've worked hard to ensure plans for these new homes remain consistent with the luxury design we are known for, whilst enhancing the existing landscape.
"Our extensive experience in the Inverclyde market, and an outstanding reputation for the careful creation of new communities, will ensure Langhouse Gardens is an attractive addition to the local community while appealing to a variety of homebuyers.
"We look forward to releasing more details of our plans for Langhouse Gardens as they progress."
Work on the new development will begin in spring 2019.
