akp have been appointed as the principle contractor to carry out reinstatement works to bring the fire damaged Badabing restaurant back to its "former glory".

The Italian restaurant in Edinburgh's Fountainbridge was gutted in a major fire last October.

The project will consist of a programme of landlords reinstatement works to the unit comprising of basement, ground and mezzanine.

Works will be primarily focussed on the ground and mezzanine areas to fully reinstate fixtures, fittings and equipment and will also include the installation of new brise soleil and shopfronts.

The project is currently underway and is programmed to conclude late May. Thereafter it will be showcased fully.
