KPMG 'Hopeful' Of Deal To Save McGill

Administrator KPMG has reportedly found a buyer for Dundee-based McGill & Co.

The construction firm collapsed and administrators were appointed on 01 February.

According to reports, Catalus Energy Investments Ltd have been granted a "short period of exclusivity" to acquire the business and certain assets.

KPMG said that it was hopeful that a sale would be agreed. Any sale would be subject to due diligence and contractual agreement.

McGill, which had bases in Dundee, Edinburgh, and Glasgow, had operated since 1981.
