A series of improvement works in Ness Islands, Inverness, are almost complete, with the final phase of work to begin next week.
The Ness Islands are a very popular tourist destination that provide through route for crossing.
The project involves improvement works on bridges, tree maintenance, pathways and bank erosion works.
The final phase will begin on Monday 25 February, which will restructure and repair the paths leading up to some of the bridges where the path has broken away or the incline is too steep.
Wells Bridge will be closed for around a week to facilitate the works.
