Former Go-Karting Site In East Lothian To Undergo Redevelopment

Plans have been approved to redevelop the former Raceland Go-Karting site at Gladsmuir into a new filling station.

The Gladsmuir development will also include a drive-through coffee shop and two drive-through fast food restaurants plus associated car parking and landscaping.

More cycle spaces will be created on the development, along with the preparation of a waste management strategy and the inclusion of tourist information on East Lothian.

Construction traffic will only access the site via the A1.

Members of East Lothian Planning Committee also granted permission for a new access junction off the A1087 at Dunbar Golf Club.
