An engineering survey has been completed on South Commercial Street in the Shetlands.
The road has since reopened to traffic this afternoon, 01 February, with a reduced width and fencing to the seaward side.
Shetland Islands Council's engineers completed the work after the road was damaged by a storm in December 2018.
More permanent repairs are to be delivered on the road when the weather improves.
