Caledonia Water Alliance (CWA) is to carry out site investigation work on Thornliebank Road in Glasgow.
The Scottish Water project will begin on Monday 21 January on a small section of the road opposite Eastwood New Cemetery.
Road traffic management will be in place for five days whilst the work is completed.
The southbound bus stop outside Eastwood New Cemetery will be closed during the work.
Jane McKenzie, Scottish Water's communications manager said: "This investigation work is being carried out in advance of future investment in our water network. We'd like to thank affected road users for their patience and understanding during these essential works."
