McLaughlin & Harvey has announced its membership of The 5% Club, reaffirming its commitment to driving momentum into the recruitment of apprentices, graduates and sponsored students.
The 5% Club is a movement of more than 300 employers providing 'earn and learn' opportunities to develop the skills and talents people need to become more employable and create meaningful careers.
Companies in The 5% Club commit to raising the number of apprentices, sponsored students and graduates on formal programmes to 5% of their total workforce within five years.
As part of the 5% club they offer earning and learning through a trainee scheme, undergraduate placements, and graduate scheme.
McLaughlin & Harvey currently have 53 employees earning and learning; which is actually 7% of their employees, putting them 2% over the 5% target.
