SGN Upgrading Hamilton Gas Network

SGN is to enter the final phase of its gas network upgrade work in the St Ninian's Road area of Hamilton.

Starting next week, Tuesday 25 September, work will begin on Farm Road from its junction with Hillhouse Road progressing north to Glenlee Street.

Works are expected to take approximately 10 weeks. Temporary two-way traffic lights will be in place throughout.

The project is part of a £118,000 investment to replace old gas mains and services with new plastic pipes to ensure a continued safe and reliable gas supply to the local area.
