Scottish building preservation company Richardson and Starling has expanded its Kirkcaldy office space and appoined six new staff members.
The Kirkcaldy space is now double its previous size with the purchase of a building adjacent to its premises on Mitchelston Industrial Estate. A total of 25 employees will work out of the expanded premises.
The expansion follows the renewal of a multi-year preservation contract from Fife Council.
Managing director Graham Duncan said: "As part of our commitment to the region and to this contract we have invested heavily in additional premises while also extensively refurbishing our existing office.
"We now have 2,000 sq ft of office space and have recruited one new property surveyor, an administrator and four new technicians."
The renewed agreement with Fife Council includes carrying out preservation works to all social housing and public buildings across the kingdom for the next three years.
Richardson & Starling is the largest company within the Veitchi Group and has been providing preservation services since 1935.
