A new £17 million school campus in Lothian Crescent, Whitfield, has officially opened.

The North East Campus contains Longhaugh Primary, St Francis Primary and Quarry View Nursery School.

Depute convener of Dundee City Council's children and families service, Roisin Smith, said: "The new campus demonstrates how we are investing for the future of our young people through an ambitious building programme.

"These are state of the art facilities to meet the challenges that our pupils will face in the years ahead."

The project was carried out by Robertson Construction and designed by Holmes Miller Architects.
