Glasgow City Council is hosting a public information event on the future of greenspace at North Toryglen.
The council will consult with locals at the event on Friday 17 August (12-6pm) at Toryglen Community Hall.
The North Toryglen Transformational Regeneration Area (TRA) was officially activated in February 2013. Since then, great progress has been made in the provision of new-build housing for rent and sale in and around Prospecthill Circus.
The TRA boundary extends beyond the housing sites and takes in land to Viridor and Jessie Street, the SUDS Ponds, Malls Mire woodland and the grassed area to Prospecthill Crescent.
The boundary includes Toryglen Park between Prospecthill Circus and Aitkenhead Road.
To complement the new housing, the council and interested partners want to see these greenspaces improved to benefit current and future residents.
