Clark Contracts Takes On Six New Apprentices

Paisley-based contractor Clark Contracts has announced the arrival of six new apprentices.

The new apprentices will spend four weeks working in various departments within Clark Contracts' offices in Paisley and Edinburgh, before beginning work on site and commencing their studies at either West College Scotland, Glasgow Clyde College or Edinburgh College.

Over 140 applications were received for apprenticeships after the company held annual careers evenings in Paisley and Edinburgh in March.

Approximately 53 applicants were invited to an assessment day, with the 25 most successful attendees asked to return for final stage interviews.

The five joinery and one painting and decorating apprentices will join the contractor's award winning Academy which already features 20 trade apprentices.
