Construction work is to begin on a section of the A737 road as part of the ongoing £31.2 million Dalry Bypass project.
The A737 Dalry Bypass project involves the construction of a off-line new bypass to the east of the town of Dalry and associated junctions to connect to the existing A737 Trunk Road.
Construction will commence on the Highfield to Den east of Dalry section of the road on 30 July and will last for approximately five weeks. This section of the road will be closed during construction.
A Transport Scotland spokesperson said: "We anticipate that this could cause a minor delay to people's journeys and would advise that you allow more time and plan your journey ahead."
The Dalry Bypass is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
