Finishing works are to take place on Tulloch Road as part of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route/Balmedie to Tipperty (AWPR/B-T) project.

Work will be carried out on a section of the road near to its junction with the C89C Chapel of Stoneywood to Fairley Road.

The scheme will also include the completion of connections between the existing road and the new bridge which will carry Tulloch Road over the new AWPR.


The road will be closed from 8pm on 20 July until 6am on 23 July to allow the work to take place.

A Transport Scotland spokesperson said: "This road is a well-used commuter route and therefore the contractor has timed this closure to minimise the impact it may have on road users. However, we would like to encourage those drivers who would consider using this route at weekends to plan their journey in advance. They should also give themselves additional travelling time so that they can reach their destination safely and on time."
