Plans for 100 new affordable homes in Harthill have been approved by North Lanarkshire Council.
Housebuilder Springfield Partnerships will transform the 9.7 acre-site into a mix of two, three and four-bedroom affordable homes.
Residents of the new development will enjoy local amenities within a short walking-distance, including Alexander Peden Primary School, the Harthill Health Centre and local playing fields.
The £13 million scheme supports the government's pledge to deliver 50,000 affordable homes by 2021.
