Work is progressing on the £31.2 million pound A737 Dalry Bypass project, with a road closure planned in the coming weeks.
A section of the A737 between Highfield and the Den east of Dalry will be closed from 30 July while work begins to connect the existing A737 to the new bypass. The section will be closed for approximately 5 weeks.
Farrans Roadbridge Joint Venture will complete work on the project on behalf of Transport Scotland.
A Transport Scotland spokesperson said: "We anticipate that this could cause a minor delay to people's journeys and would advise that you allow more time and plan your journey ahead."
The Dalry Bypass is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
