Work has started on a new Premier Inn hotel in Howard Street, Glasgow.
Developer North Limited has appointed Ogilvie Construction to deliver the 250-room facility as part of a regeneration scheme between St Enoch Square and the River Clyde.
Features will include ground floor retail and restaurant units beneath the seven-storey hotel.
Donald MacDonald, Managing Director, Ogilvie Construction, said: "We are proud to have been chosen to deliver another high quality hotel facility and look forward to delivering the project on time and budget.
"Our team has extensive experience and expertise in the hotel and leisure sector in Scotland. They worked closely with North Limited from the early stages of the project, developing a range of design and cost options prior to the start of construction work on site."
