Groundworks are underway on a new 163-home housing development at Derby Street in Dundee.
The development is a collaboration between Robertson Partnership Homes, Hillcrest Housing Association, and Dundee City Council.
The project will be a mix of family sized houses, apartments, wheelchair accessible homes and supported housing.
The site, close to the centre of Dundee, was previously home to twin multi-storey blocks, Butterburn and Bucklemaker Courts, featuring around 370 homes. The blocks were demolished in 2012.
At the heart of the development is a new pedestrian thoroughfare linking the busy main street to residential areas, located where Russell Street once existed.
Collective Architecture is the architect for the project.
