The Scottish Federation Of Housing Associations (SFHA) has welcomed the government's plan to invest £21 million towards rapid rehousing.
Housing Minister Kevin Stewart made the announcement yesterday, 27 June.
The funding will be used to find permanent homes for people living on temporary accommodation or at risk of homelessness.
It is part of the £50m Ending Homelessness Together Fund along with a health funding contribution of £1.5m.
The investment will include up to £4m to support local authorities in the five cities participating in the joint Social Bite and Corra Housing First initiative.
