Maintenance work is to be carried out to the A82 Leven Bridge near Dumbarton.
Scotland TranServ will begin installing new bridge joints, as well as resurfacing the North Bound Slip, from Monday, 21 May until Sunday, 27 May.
Works will be carried out each night from 8pm to 6am under alternate closures of the Southbound and Northbound A82.
Gordon Gibney, Scotland TranServ's Bridges Delivery Manager, said: "This short programme of work will complete the programme of waterproofing and resurfacing for the Leven Bridge. Scotland TranServ has worked with local authorities and key stakeholders throughout this project to schedule these works to keep disruption to a minimum, with completion ahead of the busy tourism season. Carrying out this essential programme through a series of overnight closures will allow us to achieve this."
Surface Delivery Manager, Russell Thomson added: "The surface of the Northbound offslip is in need of essential repair, and rather than introducing a further closure at a later date, we've accelerated this programme to take advantage of the existing Leven Bridge closure and reduce disruption. We carried out a similar resurfacing of the Southbound offslip under the closure for the bridge works in March."
