Surfacing works are to be carried out on the B979 at Stonehaven in Aberdeen.
The scheme, which is part of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route/Balmedie to Tipperty (AWPR/B-T) project, will get underway on Monday, 30 April.
A short section of the B979, between Glenury Road and the new roundabout, will close for four consecutive nights until Thursday, 03 May. The route will close each night from around 8pm and then re-open by 6am the following morning. Diversions will be in place.
A Transport Scotland spokesperson said: "The works undertaken during these closures will go a long way in enabling the contractor to complete construction in this area.
"The contractor has been working closely with Police Scotland and the local authorities to ensure anyone who needs to use this section of the B979 during these overnight closures has an alternative available to them, while enhancing the safety of road users and road workers.
"Road users who would normally use this route at night should plan their journeys in advance, and consider giving themselves additional travelling time, so that they can reach their destination safely and on time.
"We would like to thank road users and the local community for their on-going support and patience during the construction works."
