Contractors Clancy Docwra are to begin work on a water infrastructure upgrade project in South Lanarkshire.
The two-week scheme will get underway in Stonehouse on Monday, 23 April.
In order to carry out the scheme, a full road closure is required on Sidehead Road between Beechwood Drive and Sidehead Road Holdings No's 9-14. Diversions will be in place.
Ruaridh MacGregor, Scottish Water Corporate Affairs Regional Manager, said: "This work is necessary to ensure our customers continue to enjoy fresh, clear drinking water. It will also reduce the risk of burst pipes on our network.
"We'd like to apologise for any inconvenience caused during these works, and thank any affected residents and road users in advance for their patience and understanding."
