Work on a £9 million refurbishment scheme at St. Andrew's Hospice in Airdrie is now complete.
CCG has delivered the refurbishment and reconfiguration project at the Hospice's Henderson Street site.
A total of 21 single rooms with en-suite facilities have been developed, including three multi-occupancy rooms with en-suite wet rooms, staff facilities and a new entrance. Patients also have access to outside space through newly installed French doors and will benefit from modern design and décor with flexible heating and high-quality lighting.
CCG Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Alastair Wylie, said: "We are incredibly pleased to complete this project on time and on budget Not only will it enhance the service provision for patients and users, but it will improve facilities for their friends and families as well as the staff that work so hard to deliver care for the patients.
"St Andrews Hospice is a project we care deeply about which is why we organised a fundraising campaign together with our supply chain and managed to raise £30,000 for the Appeal.
"We look forward to hearing how the patients and staff are settling in."
