Construction Starts On £8.2m West Dunbartonshire Care Home

Construction work has started on a £8.2 million care home scheme in West Dunbartonshire.

CCG is delivering the Kingsacre Luxury Suites off Concho Road in Duntocher on behalf of care provider, Morrison Community Care Group.

Features will include 69 luxury suites, four dining rooms, a visitor's café, hair and beauty salon and a private cinema. In addition, a roof terrace along with private gardens and a putting green will also be developed.

Up to 100 new jobs will be provided once the new facility is open, while CCG will encourage youth development and skills building through its trade apprenticeship programme.

Alastair Wylie, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CCG, said: "CCG's experience in the care sector is growing with a number of projects delivered across central Scotland over the last four years. When we were asked to work with Morrison Community Care Group again, we were delighted to be brought on board for Kingsacre Luxury Suites.

"The development will continue Morrison's trend of providing luxury accommodation and the highest quality of service. CCG will ensure the speed and quality of our construction work will match their impeccably high standards. We look forward to continuing our partnership as we move toward a summer-2019 completion."

Kingsacre is the second project to have been undertaken by CCG for Morrison Community Care. Last year, the company successfully delivered Abbotsford House Luxury Suites in Milngavie.

Paul Sokhi, Managing Director of Morrison Community Care, said: "We are delighted to have CCG back on board after they completed our 45 luxury suite development in Milngavie late last year."
