Work is to begin on a campsite redevelopment project in Stromness.
The scheme at Ness Campsite involves creating hard-standings in the shoreside campsite area for the parking of caravans and campers, as well as resurfacing to provide vehicle access and improvements to charging points and electrical cabling.
Fencing will also be repaired around the site after it was damaged by vandals in October.
Cllr Rob Crichton said: "The Stromness campsite, with its unrivalled views of the town, Scapa Flow and Hoy Sound, is hugely popular and this popularity is only likely to increase further with the advent of RET. Visitors to Stromness provide a great energy to our town over the tourist season and it's important to us that the facilities available to them are fit for purpose.
"I look forward to this work getting underway."
Work is expected to be completed in May.
