Work is continuing on a housing energy efficiency improvement programme in South Ayrshire.
Over the past two years, nearly 900 homes have either had external insulation fitted to their homes or are in the process of having work done.
The latest work will benefit 104 properties on Brown Avenue, Donald Crescent and Logan Drive in Troon. Other ares that have already seen work being carried out at part of a £6 million energy efficiency project include Ayr, Girvan, Prestwick, Tarbolton and Troon.
Improvements are being funded by South Ayrshire Council and the Scottish Government's Home Energy Efficiency Programme for Scotland, and in partnership with the Energy Agency.
Cllr Philip Saxton said: “We're committed to making lives better for people and helping to reduce household running costs is a great way for people to save money.
"We've been working hard across South Ayrshire to put new external insulation in place and while the work is designed to make homes more energy efficient, it also helps to improve living conditions and health, while enhancing the look of neighbourhoods.
"The programme is set to continue this year and I'm sure people have already seen the results for themselves with pristine looking homes helping to breathe new life into our communities."
