Work is to begin on a sewer network upgrade project in Fife.
The eight-week scheme in Lower Largo is scheduled to start on Monday, 26 March.
Features include replacing a section of sewer outfall pipe at Temple car park to improve the sewage network and help protect the local burn, as well as the health of the local beach.
Adam Warner Scottish Water's corporate affairs officer, said: "This is essential works which will require the closure of the majority of the car park. We appreciate that this may cause some local disruption and have contacted residents and will be installing posters at the site to advise the public. This will not impact on the public toilets.
"Part of these improvements will also require some work in the road and on the beach itself, which is tidal. Over the Easter break, we will halt work at the beach to ensure that the community and tourists can enjoy full access.
"We'd like to thank the local community in advance for their patience and understanding whilst this essential work is carried out."
