Scottish Water is to begin work on a water mains repairs project in Edinburgh.
The company will start carrying out works on the Baird Road bridge in Ratho from Sunday, 25 March.
The six-hour scheme aims to improve the water mains infrastructure in the area. Diversions will be in place. Water supply to homes and businesses in the area will not be interrupted during the work.
Scott Fraser, Regional Corporate Affairs Manager at Scottish Water, said: "We appreciate this will be inconvenient for people in the area while this essential work is carried out and thank people for their patience.
"As the work is on Palm Sunday We have amended the original start time from 9am to 1pm to allow for customers to attend religious services.
"We will endeavour to complete this work in the shortest time possible to minimise disruption and apologise for any disruption this essential work will cause."
