Work is continuing to upgrade the A82 road between Tarbet and Inverarnan.
As part of the development, ground investigations are to be carried out at the Bonnie Banks from Monday, 26 March.
The scheme, which will take 18 weeks to complete, will require traffic management measures for safety reasons. The works will be halted over the Easter holiday weekend from Friday, 30 March to Monday, 02 April.
A Transport Scotland spokesperson said: "This ground investigation contract will help inform the design work for the vital upgrade to the stretch of the A82 between Tarbet and Inverarnan.
"We apologise for any inconvenience these works will cause and would thank road users and local people in advance for their patience during the works. The contractor will closely monitor the operation of the traffic management measures to ensure that any delays are kept to a minimum."
