Work is to start on a road resurfacing programme in the Highlands.
The council will begin carrying out road repairs at a number of locations across the region from Monday, 19 March.
Works will take place between the hours of 9am to 4pm at the following locations;
• B862 Fort Augustus – Whitebridge – Torness - Dores – Inverness Road; specifically at Errogie Village (North Gateway), Errogie Village (South Gateway), and Compass Farm; and
• B851 Errogie – Strathnairn – Daviot Bridge – Culloden Moor Road; specifically at Aberarder House.
The programme is expected to last for three to four days, depending on the weather.
The council said due to the single track nature of these roads, it will not be possible to carry out the works while traffic is still running on these sections and delays of up to 40 minutes can be expected during the works. Only one site will be operational at any one time.
