Work is to start on a £240,000 road resurfacing programme in Ayr.
Nearly 0.7km of the A77 North of Doonholm Road will be repaired by Scotland TranServ.
Resurfacing work will begin at 8pm on Sunday, 11 March and run overnights only until 6am on Saturday, 17 March. Diversions will be in place.
Alan Murray, Scotland TranServ's Principal Road Design Engineer, said: "In order to keep disruption to an absolute minimum for commuters and businesses using the A77 through Ayr, we have worked with key stakeholders to schedule works through the night.
"To ensure the safety of our workers and the travelling public, it will be necessary to close the road from 8pm in the evening until 6am the following morning. Local diversions will be clearly sign posted. The programme will last for 6 consecutive nights."
