Work is to begin on a temporary road realignment project near Aberdeen.
The route of the B9077 South Deeside Road will be temporarily changed overnight for around two weeks from 10pm on Sunday, 04 February.
The scheme, which is part of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route/Balmedie to Tipperty (AWPR/B-T) project, is being carried out to allow the contractor to safely undertake drainage works and rebuild a wall (subject to weather conditions).
A Transport Scotland spokesperson said: "We would like to encourage road users to exercise more caution than usual in this area as they become accustomed to the temporary changes in road layout for the next two weeks at South Deeside Road for their own safety and the safety of road users.
"We would also like to remind all road users that additional traffic management measures, including short-term use of temporary traffic lights, will be required at times to enhance the safety of the local community, road workers and road users and should be observed."
