Kier is to begin emergency repairs works on a sewer in Banknock area of Falkirk.
A new section of sewer main is to be installed on the A803 Kilsyth road following a collapse. A short section of the road will be closed during the repairs.
Work to replace the sewer will begin at 8am on Saturday, 20 January. The repairs will take two to three days to complete. Diversions will be in place.
Scott Fraser, Scottish Water's corporate affairs regional manager, said: "Our contractor Kier will be on site and speaking to local businesses affected by the road closure.
"We apologise to local residents, businesses and commuters for the disruption and thank them in advance for their patience and understanding. But this is essential work which must be carried out."
