Residents in Dumfries and Galloway are being invited to submit their views over a planned electricity reinforcement scheme in the region.
The Kendoon to Tongland 132kV Reinforcement Project aims to modernise the network between Kendoon and Tongland as the existing 132,000 volt system is coming towards the end of its operational life.
SP Energy Networks said the consultation, which has been ongoing since November, aims to gather local views on on detailed route alignments for the new overhead lines, including potential locations for the steel towers and wooden poles that will support them, and working areas and construction accesses.
Subject to final approval, SP Energy Networks hopes to have the new system in use by 2023.
Colin Brown, SP Energy Networks Project Manager, said: "We had a good turnout at the exhibitions we held in Kirkcudbright, Mossdale and New Galloway in November, and we have received a range of comments.
"However, there is still time for anyone who wishes to put forward their views to review the documents and submit their feedback."
