The former Chief Executive of Carillion, Richard Howson, has resigned from his position as Non-Executive director of Aberdeen-based energy services firm, Wood.

Mr Howson left the industry services giant in November last year after five years in charge, just weeks before the company fell into administration with £1.5 billion of debt.

Ian Merchant, Chairman of John Wood Group, said: "I would like to thank Richard for his contribution over the last 2 years."
