Work to repair a burst water main in Kilmarnock is now complete.
Around 1,500 properties were affected when a 16-inch main at Glasgow Road burst on Saturday, 16 December.
Scottish Water's teams worked overnight to carry out the repair and work was completed on Sunday morning, 17 December.
A Scottish Water spokesman said: "The repair proved to be complex and we would like to thank customers for their patience while we continue to resolve the situation.
"We apologise to anyone who has been without water during the period of this incident and would like to assure you that we are doing all that we can to ensure supplies are restored."
