Russell Roof Tiles has revealed plans to create 10 new jobs at its Lochmaben factory in the south of Scotland.
The pitched roofing manufacturer is investing £500,000 to purchase new machinery and equipment in its utility and main tile plants at the 11-acre Halleaths site.
The investment will help the firm deliver existing and new customer orders, as well as boost capacity for its growing collection of colours and profiles.
The factory currently employs 70 staff making concrete roof tiles used by UK house builders and high profile social housing and commercial projects. The 10 new roles will be created in 2018.
Since becoming independent six years ago, the factory has invested £7 million in new capital equipment across its sites.
Andrew Hayward, Managing Director at Russell Roof Tiles, said: "It's vital that Russells continues to invest in our manufacturing facilities, using the latest technology to continue to drive the business forward and keep up with current and predicted growth. The new enhanced equipment means that we will require new staff to join the team."
