The Energy Agency has won an accolade at the National Energy Efficiency and Healthy Homes Awards 2017.
The Auchincruive-based charity picked up the Project Management Company of the Year award during the event at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel.
The Energy Agency has worked with South Ayrshire Council to install energy efficiency works on hundreds of properties in Ayr, Prestwick, Tarbolton and Troon in 2017, with external cladding added to buildings helping to reduce fuel bills.
The organisation manages and deliver the Home Energy Efficiency Programmes for Scotland: Area Based Schemes on behalf of South Ayrshire, East Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway Council with funding provided by Scottish Government.
Accepting the award, Liz Marquis of the Energy Agency said: "This award gives great recognition of the hard work, dedication and professionalism of our staff and highlights our expertise in managing these projects."
Cllr Ian Cochrane said: "It's a wonderful achievement to receive professional recognition for the efforts of our staff on these worthwhile projects. The Energy Agency is working hard with South Ayrshire Council to reduce fuel poverty in local communities and improve quality of lives."
