HLM Wins Accolade At Glasgow Business Awards

Architectural firm HLM has won an accolade at the Glasgow Business Awards 2017.

The company picked up the People Development Award in recognition for its efforts to develop the skills of its employees.

The HLM Academy is a training initiative which helps ensure all employees have the opportunity and resources to reach their full potential. The programme consists of a thorough induction, as well as modules, webinars, coaching, graduate programmes and on-the-job structured training. It ensures training and development is a company priority and enables its team to work to the best of their ability.

In addition, the design and architecture company has recently recruied and trained more than five apprentices over the summer at its Glasgow studio.

Lorraine Robertson, who heads up HLM Scotland said: "We are very proud to be recognised for our people development efforts, especially in such a competitive category at the Glasgow Business Awards. People development is at the heart of everything we do and we strive to give our team the best opportunity to continue to grow and develop their careers.
