Residents are being invited to help shape plans in the Hillhead and Harestanes areas of East Dunbartonshire.
Last year, over 500 residents responded to a 'How Good is Our Place Survey?' which helped to identify a number of potential proposals for the regions.
The Community Planning Partnership (CCP) has now drafted up plans to address the needs and ambitions set out by the community.
A series of Workshops will take place later this month to discuss the proposals;
• 10.30am -12.30pm, Hillhead Community Centre on 27 September
• 2pm – 4pm, Harestanes Community Centre 28 September.
• 6.30pm – 8.30pm, Hillhead Community Centre on 28 September.
Chair of the CPP, Council Leader Gordan Low, said: "Now that these plans have been drafted we would like to hear what local residents think of them, to ensure we have the right priorities for action. This is a very important stage of the planning process as we will use residents' feedback to finalise the plans which will determine how we move forward in developing the area in the future.
"These workshops are designed to stimulate discussion and to generate a more participative way of working together as we'd like to see local residents in the driving seat when bringing about changes and developments to services in the area."
