Work on a £2.5 million social housing development in East Kilbride is now complete.
The 19-home scheme located off Livingstone Drive was built by McTaggart Construction on behalf of Link Group.
Features of the Stanley Place project include a mix of one, two and three-bedroom homes, and two wheelchair exemplar units. The properties have been built to the Silver Standard of Sustainability, with high levels of insulation and solar panels, creating warm, comfortable, energy-efficient homes.
Speaking at the official opening ceremony, Cllr Josh Wilson said: "I was delighted to attend the official opening of the Link Group development in East Kilbride. These new homes, like many being built across South Lanarkshire, are transforming people's lives.
"The homes we are building here in South Lanarkshire would not be possible if it wasn't for ambitious social landlords and local authorities as well as record funding by the Scottish Government."
Link Group Chief Executive, Craig Sanderson said: "We are very pleased to have been supported by the Scottish Government and South Lanarkshire Council to enable us to build these new, high quality homes in East Kilbride."
