Work is continuing on the A82 road upgrade scheme between Tarbet and Inverarnan.
Earlier this year, the Scottish Government confirmed the design for the 10.6 mile-long scheme will be taken forward as a 7.3 metre-wide carriageway.
To continue work on the scheme, tree survey works will get underway on Tuesday, 26 September.
A Transport Scotland spokesman said: "These surveys will help inform the ongoing design work for this scheme.
"When complete, the upgraded road will bring significant improvements for road users and local communities who rely on this road which connects the Highland and Islands with the central belt."
