Road Repairs Project To Start On A72 In Scottish Borders

A road repairs project is to begin on the A72 road in the Scottish Borders.

Four days of patching works will get underway between Walkerburn and the Thornilee Forest layby on Monday, 18 September.

The first stage of works will start on the Thornilee to Holylee stretch of the road on 18 and 19 September. The second phase between Holylee and Walkerburn will get underway on 20 and 21 September.

To carry out the scheme safely, a convoy traffic system will be in place each day from 7.30am – 3pm for the duration of the works.
